Tap Water for $1

From March 20th to the 26th The Red
Cat and The Harrison, along with a host of other restaurants nationwide, will
be participating in UNICEF’s Tap Project. 
Guests who choose to participate will pay $1 for tap water.  The proceeds will who to the Tap Project, who
provides lifesaving water and sanitation to kids around the world.  Every day 4,100 children die of water-related diseases and nearly 900 million people worldwide
lack access to safe drinking water.  Almost half of them are children.  Just $1 raised through the UNICEF Tap Project
can provide a child with safe water for 40 daysSince 1990, UNICEF has
helped 1.6 billion people gain access to clean water and sanitation. 2011
UNICEF Tap Project Funds will specifically target Togo, the Central African
Republic and Vietnam.
