On the heels of her narrow defeat to Bobby Flay on Iron Chef America last season, The Harrison Executive Chef Amanda Freitag is back in the thick of it this fall. She competes with nine other chefs from all over the country for the coveted position of The Next Iron Chef. In case you missed it last season, Amanda lost to Bobby by the smallest of margins, just one point. The producers have decided to add yet another Iron Chef to the line-up of this immensely popular show. Ten chefs at the top of their game have been invited to take part in this demanding test of their culinary skills and mental toughness with just left standing at the end. The show premieres Sunday, October 4th at 9pm on Food Network. Please tune in and cheer Amanda on!
