Amanda Freitag joins an all-star team of female chefs to help a great cause on September 20th at Chelsea Piers. A Second Helping of Life is a tasting event that benefits SHARE, Self-Help for Women with Breast or Ovarian Cancer. Thirty female chefs will serve their signature dishes with the help of celebrity sous chefs. A live and silent auction will follow. Other chefs lending their  talents include Anita Lo, Rebecca Charles, Sue Torres and Amy Scherber. The event takes place right here in Chelsea at Pier 60.
